Knock You Out And Clear Your Sinuses Soup Recipe (warning: not for the weak)

*stretches, cracks knuckles*

Today I left school at 11:30 because my yearbook class got cancelled. So then I thought "omg it's the perfect day to cook" and I went to my local walmarts and bought $13 worth of ingredients that I will never use outside of this recipe. And this recipe I made up in my head while walking down the aisles.
I ended up buying some beef broth, stuffed tortellini, an onion, chopped kale, and Italian seasoning. The rest of the stuff I had at home but anyway. My plan was to make soup, like the soup from Olive Garden with the sausage and kale and potatoes? But my soup didn't contain sausage because too much work and I get to tell everyone it's "vegan friendly" even though it contains beef broth. I really want to watch the world burn.
Anyway, I made it and it was really good so I'm putting down all the stuff I used below in order to form a more perfect "recipe" haha get it, a preamble joke...
(btw I just named this so just roll with it plz)

Macie's Knock You Out & Clear Your Sinuses Soup

what you need
  • 1 whole potato, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 of an onion
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1 cup stuffed cheese tortellini
  • 1/2-1 cup of kale (your preference)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 1 tbs olive oil or vegetable oil
how you do it, son

First thing you need to do is get that potato peeled and diced into bite size pieces. Throw that in your pot. Then put a splash of olive/veg oil in there and set your stove on simmer and let the potatoes be potatoes for a bit while you do other things.
Next, get that onion. Don't let it see you cry. Cut that thing into 4 equal quadrants. Take one of the quadrants, cut that thang up some more, and throw it in the pot. Be sure to stir to the potatoes and onion every once in a while so they don't stick to the bottom.
Add the beef broth, and don't be shy about it. Then add your tomatoes. The tomatoes are what make it awesome. Turn up your stove to med/high until it comes to a nice boil. Then add all the seasoning. You can always give or take with it to your personal preference. The more red pepper flakes you put in, the hotter the soup will be.
Crank the stove up to med/high and add in the stuffed cheese tortellini. Kinda watch it for a few minutes and stir. You should totally be smelling the soup by now. It should make your nose run. After a good 3-5 minutes of staring at this pot of lava, turn it down to low/med and stir in your kale. Leave the stems out. When the soup calms down to a nice simmer, put the top on the pot and let it cook for about 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, go check and see if the tortellini is soft and enlarged and if the potatoes are soft. If not, stir and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Then you are done. Congratulations, you have completely ruined your kitchen. Get out a bowl and help yo' self.

you can thank me later for curing your cold

Deviantart

Yoooooo so I've been having fun with my camera lately. It keeps snowing here and omg the
PICTURES THO. I am trying.

I was watching a Game Grumps video of Arin showing us his old art and he mentioned some of it was from Devinatart and I was like I REMEMBER DEVIANTART but I never made one ( ok, I may have another account I made somewhere but I'm not sure? ) anyway I decided that it would be a good platform for me to post some of my photos that I think are plausible. If I posted all of them on The Facebooks my family would cringe so I have to go elsewhere. Hopefully it will be appreciated here.

HELLO, 2018

"Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year" - All Time Low

My new years eve was great. I spent the night with Abby. I brought my Wii over because Anna (her sister) messed theirs up ANNA IF YOU ARE READING THIS, ABBY BLAMES YOU FOR BREAKING IT. Anyway. I also brought my new camera, 3 blankets (because it is 12 degrees outside literally um this is Alabama @God I would like a refund because I live in the south for reasons here. I need some decent weather.
After playing Mario Kart, we ate ham and cheese rolls, made by her mom and they were AWESOME because she seasoned them to perfection. She had expressed to us earlier that night that she was not too proud of one of the batches because the tops of the buns had browned a bit more than she would prefer. But it made the little sandwiches that much better.
We ate probably a total of 6 sandwiches last night while simultaneously playing Wii Sports with greasy hands until her mom came in and told us that she and her boyfriend were leaving to go to a party or something. So we put down the Wii and headed for the living room, where we spent the rest of the night playing Just Dance from years and years ago on her PlayStation 3. And it was glorious. We were sweating so hard that we changed into shorts and tee shirts and turned on the overhead fan. They should hold sweat classes for these games. I swear we burned at least 400 calories jumping around to Katy Perry music as the usernames "Happy" and "Banana".
As you can imagine, sweating makes you very thirsty.... so I drank 4 cups of water, which is like, uhhhhhhhhh 1/4 of a gallon for all you mathematicians out there reading this. And if I'm wrong about it, then leave a comment I guess. But the point is I got pretty sick from having such a full stomach and doing so much dAncIng! So then we went and did face masks and watched 15 minutes of The Last Unicorn because Danny Avidan did a NSP cover of it so I had to watch it because he is an angel. Danny if you happen to be reading this, date me plz.
We fell right asleep at likeeee 12:15 because I hadn't slept in 36 hours and I was very worried about my health because WebMD. I slept for 9 hours. I really want some chocolate chips cookies.

Football From The Ashes

From the ashes arises another fall semester at my local community college. And Yes. I am very excited to be staring my second A&P course this evening. It is all for the better and will further my future, as I understand via my father, yet I am very not looking forward to it, contrary to popular belief (and the fact that I just stated that I was "very excited" to be starting it) which I think was a form of sarcasm.

Anywayyyyy so this Friday night is the Munford vs. Clay Central game and I just know in my heart we are going to lose. I say this because I try to be an honest person as often as possible, because people who are like "we are so totally gonna win go lions rawrrr!!!!!!!" have failed to acknowledge the ever-so-prominent fact that we have lost to Clay Central for many, many years NOT TO BE A DEBBIE DOWNER OR ANYTHING. Nevertheless, I am supporting my alma mater because it is my duty. Lilly and I are also taking pictures for the yearbook. I think she, Abby, and I are riding together because I'm awesome and really good at directions.

P.S.- Enjoy this picture I took of Mason the cat that has nothing to do with this post but I thought someone should look at him because look at him.

Seventh Grade Bellringer

Yeah so this is from middle school or whatever when we had to write "bell ringers" which meant right as we sat down we had to do a realllllly annoying task like write "3-5 sentences on a recent event" like we did below. Pretty sure this entry is from my seventh grade English class. Shout out to Angie.

Looking back on things like this make me question my morals sometimes. It also makes me realize that I will never be a good speller and that not being able to spell will hinder me in life IS IT SPELLED HINDER OR IS THAT JUST THE BAND.

Seventh grade was a very trying time for my social life as well as my emotional life because I was very lonely and so much the underdog it hurt and I got bullied on facebook but it is no big deal. Well back then it was but now I don't really care about it. Actually the bullying part took place in sixth grade. But its emotional toll continued throughout seventh.

Toward the end of my seventh grade year I'd made some friends. I did this mainly by going up to them and really awkwardly asking if they liked Percy Jackson or The Fray or Daughtry DO NOT JUDGE ME those are really good fandoms to be in okay, I should know I had a tumblr. And if you had a tumblr. account everyone automatically assumed that you were an intellectual and not at all annoying.

So yeah. I became friends with the people I am friends with today basically. My social skills have gotten a lot better WITHOUT THERAPY MOM. Whatever.
